Annnnnnnnd…. It’s a girl!
In a sweet post on Instagram, Gypsy Rose Blanchard gushed about her baby and how excited she is to be welcoming the infant into the world soon.
“The moment y’all have been waiting for… It’s a girl! Ken and I are over the moon and are so excited to start our family. We’re so thankful for our friends, neighbors, and families who came to our party today! We also want thank ya’ll for your love and support! “
The post also featured a video of her and Urker standing by an arrangement of balloons which they popped to reveal pink confetti. In a little message to the baby girl, Gypsy Rose stated, “Sweetie, I’m your mom” and Urker declared, “I’m your dad.”
Together they added, “You are a girl!”
Gypsy Rose Blanchard announced she was expecting her first child a little over six months after she was released from prison. The infant is due in early 2025.
Gyspy Rose Blanchard’s Estranged Hubsnad Ryan Anderson Says He Has to ‘Get a DNA’ For Her Baby
As Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker celebrate at their gender reveal party, Gypsy’s estranged husband, Ryan Anderson states he has to do a DNA test for the baby.
In a TikTok livestream on Saturday, Aug. 10, Anderson revealed that the test is part of the procedure to establish paternity for separated couples in the state of Lousiana. “I have to get a DNA test. I don’t have a choice,” Anderson explained. He also noted that he hates being in the situation.
“I have to take a DNA test for court,” he continued. “The way the timeline matches up — I don’t think it’s mine, but I don’t know. The DNA test is going to prove it. Crazier things have happened. I just don’t know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions.”
A couple of months before she and Ken Urker announced they were expecting their first baby together, Gypsy Rose Blanchard filed for divorce from Ryan Anderson. The couple got married in a prison ceremony in 2022.
“You love Ken? Good for you,” Anderson said. “I’m glad that community loves Ken. Good for that. But hopefully, if you are here with me, you are team Ryan.”
According to the Louisana paternity law, if a mother is married to someone other than the biological father when the baby was conceived or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of the birth, the husband shall be the presumed father, unless paternity is established for the biological father.
If Ken wants to be on the birth certificate as the biological father, Ryan has to sign an affidavit stating Ken is the father. If Ryan refuses, Ken has to file a motion, and he, Gypsy Rose, and Ryan will have to take a DNA test for the baby.
