While chatting with Us Weekly about Gypsy Rose expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, a source said she immediately contacted Ryan after finding out she was pregnant.
“Gypsy told him immediately when she found it was Ken’s baby. He didn’t believe it at first,” the insider stated. They also revealed that Anderson was “very polite” about the news and respected her by keeping it private. “He has been more than fair and amicable to her. That’s what hurts him the most.”
Blanchard and Anderson separated in March less than two years after exchanging vows during a prison ceremony. Blanchard was serving time for her involvement in the infamous murder of her mother, Dee Dee.
Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison, Gypsy Rose was granted parole after serving eight. She left prison at the end of 2023.
The former spouses allegedly split due to constant fighting and Ryan’s alleged “food hoarding,” which reminded her of her mother, Dee Dee. Blanchard filed for divorce in April.
While she and her former fiance Urker originally denied they were together, the duo eventually admitted they were in a relationship.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard announced her pregnancy to the world on Tuesday, July 9. “I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now,” she said. “And I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025.”
Gypsy Rose further explained that the pregnancy was unplanned and entirely unexpected. “I want to be everything my mother wasn’t,” she emotionally declared.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Estranged Husband Feels Like Ken Urker Stole His Life
Continuing to speak about Ryan Anderson’s reaction to Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s pregnancy, the source stated that he is “still partly in love with her” and believes Ken Urber stole his life.
“He’s been very down about this,” the insider pointed out. “It’s been very hard for him to get over her, but he’s OK.”
The source also stated that Anderson “knew” Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s announcement was coming, but he “still respects her” and is “not ugly” towards her.
Anderson previously claimed that he was “blindsided” by the divorce from Blanchard. He said that things between them were great after she left prison.
“I loved our first night together when I picked her up from the prison, and it was just me and her. Those are the moments I cherish. I was just happy Gypsy was home. A lot was going on but it was just great to have her in the room with you.”
However, the couple struggled when it came to discussing her friendship with Urker, whom Gypsy Rose reconnected with after she left prison. However, Anderson said he didn’t see the divorce coming.
“I’m blindsided by how fast events took place,” he admitted. “I’ve done a lot of reflection and I look back at that argument.”
He went on to add, “We were going through a lot. We just got into an argument and that was it. It turned out that was the last time Gypsy was really here. I’ve only seen her one time after that.”
