During the “Weekend Update” segment, the long-running comedy sketch show aimed at the rapper’s recent arrest and legal troubles.
“It was reported that the U.S. added 245,000 new jobs. Unfortunately, they were all ‘DIDDY ACCUSER,’” Michael Che jokingly declared, with a picture of Diddy on the screen.
The Saturday Night Live star continued by stating, “It was announced that Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking case has been assigned to a new judge. One that Diddy hopes is cool with rapes”
“Weekend Update” co-host Colin Jost also slammed Diddy by bringing Prince Andrew up. The royal is among those who were notorious close to the late infamous sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
“It was reported that Diddy once invited Prince Harry and Prince William to one of his parties, but they did not go,” Jost explained. “Although before Diddy could even finish writing the invite, Prince Andrew was there.”
Following months of investigating, federal agents arrested Diddy in New York City on Sept. 16. He was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting people for prostitution. The famous rapper is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits his next courtroom appearance.
He has continued to maintain his innocence.
Former Inmate Claims Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs isn’t Getting ‘Special Treatment’ While in Prison
Meanwhile, a former inmate of the Metropolitan Detention Center and Married at First Sight Australia alum Timothy Smith stated Sean “Diddy” Combs isn’t getting any special treatment while behind bars at the prison.
While speaking to the Daily Mail Australia, Smith, who served time at the same prison for drug trafficking, stated that Diddy’s money and wealth won’t get him any benefits. The former reality TV star also pointed out that the prison is “so limited” that rich inmates do not get extra privileges.
“You’re allowed a few basics, like a tracksuit and sneakers from the commissary, but that’s about it,” Smith said. “They do raids, and if you try to stockpile, they take everything.”
Smith also pointed out that Diddy more than likely doesn’t have any access to other inmates. “People think there are TVs and radios, but where he’s at, there’s nothing, not even a radio. You get a Bible and one book per week. That’s all,” Smith continued.
Smith further shared that Diddy will only receive 300 minutes of phone time per month. “So if you’re on the phone for 30 minutes a day, after 10 days, you get no more phone for the next 20 days,” he explained. “Sometimes you run out of minutes within the first week, and then you’re just left talking to yourself.”
