In a message on Snapchat, King seemingly responded bluntly to the gossip circulating about the raids. “Stop with the cap,” the 25-year-old wrote, which notably translates to “quit lying.”
As previously reported, the FBI and Homeland Security raided multiple properties that Diddy owns on Monday, March 25. The raids came after the famed rapper was hit with multiple lawsuits that accused him of being involved in human trafficking.
Diddy’s sons, Justin and King, were captured on camera as they were escorted out of the Miami property in handcuffs.
In a statement to USA TODAY, Combs’ defense attorney, Aaron Dyer called the raids a “witch hunt.”
“There was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residence,” Dyer stated. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”
Dyer further pointed out that Diddy was never detained. However, he did speak to and cooperated with authorities.
This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence, leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs,” Dyer continued. “And is nothing more than a witch based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”
Along with the raids, Diddy’s alleged drug mule, Brendon Paul, was also arrested. He was charged with one count of possession of suspected cocaine and suspected marijuana cady. He was apprehended at the Opa Locka Airport in Miami.
Diddy’s Other Son Justin Was Named in Human Trafficking Lawsuit
King Combs’ response to the raids comes just after Diddy’s other son, Justin, was reportedly named in the human trafficking lawsuit.
In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Justin and his father were named as defendants in an amended complaint by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. The term “sex trafficking” appeared in the legal documents 50 times.
Jones sued Diddy last month for $30 million. In the lawsuit, Jones alleged that he experienced drugging, threats, and sexual assault for over a year. He then claimed that while staying with the Rapper from Sept. 2022 to Nov. 2023, he recorded the rapper engaging in “serious illegal activity.”
Jones said he was sexually harassed and assaulted by Diddy. However, Diddy’s other attorney, Shawn Holley, called Jones a liar. He then refuted Jones’ allegations. “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar. [He] filed a $30 million lawsuit, shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday.”
