Continuing to speak out about what led to her filing for divorce from Dean McDermott, Tori Spelling addresses the baby pig rumors.
While discussing the divorce on her misSPELLING podcast, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum cleared the air about her estranged husband’s baby pig claims.
“He gave an interview saying he stopped sleeping in the bed because of a pig,” Tori Spelling said. “That is not true. The pig was in the bed in 2017. When I was pregnant, we had a baby pig.”
Spelling also stated she was advised to let the baby pig sleep in a bed. “It was used to snuggling, and it needed that for a few nights,” she explained. “But when it peed between us in the bed, he was like, ‘The pig’s leaving the bed’ and I was like, ‘Understood.’”
Tori Spelling then said that the baby pig was moved to Jennie Garth’s ranch. “That was the only night the pig was in the bed,” Spelling continued. She further pointed out that the other animals and kids did not come between her and McDermott in the bed.
McDermott first made comments about the sleeping situation during an interview with the Daily Mail last fall. “I created a healthy boundary for myself,” he explained. “And I said, ‘I can’t do this. I can’t live and sleep in this kind of condition.’”
Spelling then said that her soon-to-be ex claimed the key issues were that she slept with the TV on and didn’t clean the bedroom. “I think I had the TV for distraction, to distract from my life,” she said. “I would just zone out.”
After Dean moved out of the bedroom, Tori started sleeping with their five children and four dogs.

While continuing to discuss Dean McDermott’s comments, Tori Spelling admitted she had a not-so-calming reaction to everything he said.
“He said, ‘Ugh, I’m so sick of this. I have been picking up Tori Spelling’s s— for 18 years.’ And I f—ing lost it,” she said. “This guttural scream came out of me… It was beast-like, it wasn’t pretty at all… I was like f— you!”
However, Tori Spelling did praise her soon-to-be ex for finally getting sober. “He’s been sober since June 2023,” she pointed out. “And I’m very proud of him. We’ve been down this road before, no one publicly knew, and I hope for him and the kids, that it sticks. I really do.”
