Although The Roast of Tom Brady consisted of the former NFL star getting slammed for his career and personal life choices, Nikki Glaser revealed one topic was completely off-limits for the Netflix hilarious special – Brady’s kids.
While appearing on The Howard Stern Show on Monday, May 6, the comedian revealed that those who participated in the roast agreed to leave Brady’s children, Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian, out of the jokes.
“We all collectively just decided not to involve his kids too much in anything because they didn’t ask for that,” she explained. “So I couldn’t say, ‘Tom, hopefully, we make out at the after party – you can pretend I’m your son.”
Nikki Glaser was referring to when Tom Brady drew controversy over kissing then-11-year-old Jack while filming his Tom vs. Time docuseries in 2018. “But yeah, there was things like that. We all just agreed, ‘Let’s not throw the kids under the bus.’ Even though I just did it here.”

However, the agreement didn’t stop Nikki Glaser from cracking a joke about Tom Brady breaking up with Bridget Moynahan while she was pregnant with Jack.
“But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long,” she told the crowd of the Netflix special. “You retire, then you came back, and then you retired again, I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend, it’s tough.”
Nikki Glaser wasn’t quite done with the jab at Tom Brady. “Hey, to be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant, he just thought she was getting fat.”
Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan called it quits in 2006. Two months after the split, the actress’s rep announced she was three months pregnant with Brady’s child. By then, the NFL star had moved on and was dating supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
Jack was born in August 2007. The exes have appeared to have a cordial approach to co-parenting over the years.
Two years after Jack’s birth, Brady married Bündchen. The couple had two more children, Benjamin and Vivian. They divorced in 2022.
Along with the breakup with Moynahan, Brady was also roasted for his divorce from Bündchen.
Kevin Hart made comments about Bündchen. “When you get a chance to go 8-9 and all it cost you is your wife and kids, you gotta do what the f— you gotta do. [You’re] one of the smartest quarterbacks [who] ever played a game. How did you not see this coming? Eight f—ing karate classes a day? She f—ed that karate man.”
Bündchen was reportedly “deeply disappointed” with the remark.
