Gisele Bündchen spoke out about the jokes made at Tom Brady’s Netflix roast special on Sunday.
A source told PEOPLE that Gisele feels “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family.”
The model was the butt of various quips at her ex-husband’s roast.
“Let me tell you something,” Kevin Hart began. “When you got a chance to go 8-9, and all it will cost you is your wife and kids, you gotta do what the f— you gotta do.”
Kevin then poked fun at Gisele and her boyfriend/jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente.
“I mean, Jesus Christ, Tom,” Kevin continued. “[You’re] one of the smartest quarterbacks [who] ever played a game. How did you not see this coming? Eight f—ing karate classes a day?”
“She f—ed that karate man,” he added.
Others brought Gisele into their roasts of Tom as well. “You have seven rings — well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,” Nikki Glaser said, referencing Tom’s Super Bowl wins.
When it was Tom’s turn to get on stage and speak, even he slighted Gisele. “The truth is, I miss the love of my life: football,” he said.
Gisele Bündchen Feels ‘Deeply Disappointed’ by Tom Brady Marriage Jokes
A source spoke with PEOPLE regarding the brutal roast of Tom. Unfortunately, it felt like a roast of Gisele, too.
Though she was “deeply disappointed” by the disrespectful jokes, “As always, [Gisele’s] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted.”
Meanwhile, Gisele is focusing her energy on a good cause.
“This past week, Gisele has been tirelessly dedicated to aiding those in need in her home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, which is grappling with the worst flooding in its history,” the source stated. “She was concerned about family affected by the devastating floods. So to hear her life being joked about was very disappointing.”
“My heart breaks for the Brazilians who are living through the devastation of the massive floods in Rio Grande do Sol this week,” Gisele wrote on Instagram. “Thousands of people have sadly lost everything. My team and I have … received many inquiries about where to donate to get funds directly to the people dealing with this disaster.
“Thus, I have made the decision to reopen donations to the Luz Alliance Emergency Fund in partnership with @brazilfound.”
