In a recent Instagram post, the Underworld star shared some pics and videos featuring her in a t-shirt that reads, “Tummy Troubles Survivor.” She appears to be home from the hospital and hanging out with her pup. Instead of writing an explanation, she used the strength and white heart emoji in the caption.
Fans quickly left Kate Beckinsale some words of encouragement and praise for being home. “You definitely are a survivor as it says on the shirt,” one fan wrote. “Glad to see things looking up.”
Another fan then wrote, “Yay glad you made it through to the other side! Two thumbs up for immune systems keeping the good ones around.”
Other fans related to Kate Beckinsale’s tummy issues. “Tummy troubles survivors unite!”
The photos come just days after Beckinsale sparked some concerns by making a since-deleted post featuring her mother with a black eye. She captioned the photo with, “My mum is hurt. Everything in me just wants to scream. That soft, beautiful face, the unfairness of yet another f—ing blow, this time, to the face, hands, knee.”
Kate Beckinsale continued to share her thoughts about the incident by writing, “As I am twisting my guts up to rail at this, she dresses in delicate purple to jauntily complement and has managed not to break a single bone. No one is stronger, no one terrifies me more in her fragility. Please mind, if you can. Minding helps.”
Beckinsale previously praised her mother in a sweet post on UK’s Mother’s Day. She also shared and deleted pictures of herself in a hospital bed without any explanation.
Kate Beckinsale Did Confirm It Wasn’t a Rupture Cyst That Put Her In the Hospital
Although she hasn’t publicly revealed what led to her latest hospitalization, Kate Beckinsale did confirm that it wasn’t a cyst this time.
According to PEOPLE, in a since-deleted post, Beckinsale responded to a comment about a cyst being a potential issue. “I didn’t have a ruptured cyst since 2019,” she wrote. “But thank you so much for your kind wishes x.”
Kate Beckinsale was referring to when she was in the hospital for a cyst in 2019. “Turns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry,” she wrote in a Jan. 2019 Instagram post. “So thankful to everyone who looked after me.”
She also shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed. After one follower criticized her for the “hospital selfie,” the actress responded that the paparazzi was behind the photo to begin with. “It’s not actually a selfie. My mum took it. In fact I would not have posted if we had not noticed someone in a car taking a photo of me.”
