Blanchard road the TMZ Tour Bus earlier this week on what else but a celebrity tour. Blanchard acted very much like one of the tourists, taking pictures with fellow riders and also answering any questions that they had.
Blanchard said that one Hollywood celebrity even wanted to hang out with her. She revealed that one of the Jonas Brothers wanted her to come to an event earlier this year. Unfortunately, she couldn’t make it.
Additionally, Elizabeth Smart had reached out to her through private messages as well.
Besides meeting with fans, Blanchard went to the Santa Monica beach with her family. It was the first time that Blanchard had ever seen the ocean. She apparently enjoyed the water and her time.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Enjoys Freedom
However, Blanchard’s trip came to an end with the reality star heading back to Louisana. Blanchard will soon document her life in a Lifetime series. She previously opened up about what it’s like to be free after spending so much time in prison.
“I felt a little bit like I was dropped in a different world,” she said. “Because you don’t realize how much you’re restricted in prison. I felt like I was in a black-and-white world and I just stepped into technicolor. It was amazing.”
She’s also had to reckon with her new-found fame as well.
“I always said I think I’m infamous and that I came out famous,” she explained. “There is this massive amount of support. And I appreciate that. But I’m dealing with a lot of self-guilt and regrets myself. So it’s a battle going on in my heart and in my mind.”
She said that she’s naturally shy so typically avoids the spotlight. “I don’t think that I’m doing anything that anybody else wouldn’t do. I’m being myself,” she said.
Still, that didn’t stop her from using social media to discuss her joy of freedom.
“I’m finally free” she said in a video on TikTok.“I just want to send a quick video to thank everyone for the massive amount of support that I’ve been getting on social media. Everyone’s been really, really nice and supportive and I really appreciate that. It’s nice to be home, I’m back home in Louisiana, enjoying a beautiful day outside.”
