Following the premiere of Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen reportedly missed out on one of the biggest fashion events of the year, the Met Gala.
However, Bündchen’s absence wasn’t necessarily because of Brady.
In one of her Instagram Stories on Monday, the supermodel revealed that she was focusing on the Brazil flood relief. “It’s so heartbreaking,” she wrote about the devastation. “I’m helping but [the people] need all the help they can get.”
Bündchen also shared a link to the Brazil Foundation’s Luz Alliance Fund with hopes that her followers will donate to the cause.
Gisele Bündchen made headlines on Monday after some of the punchlines in the Tom Brady special targeted her. Host Kevin Hart mocked the NFL star for Bündchen’s new boyfriend Joaquim Valente. Before dating, Valente was Bündchen’s jiu-jitsu coach.
“Tom, you f–ked your coach,” Hart said, referring to Brady parting ways from Patriots coach Bill Belichick to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. “But let me tell you something, people — that’s what you’ve got to do to maintain your happiness. You know who else f–ked their coach? Gisele. She f–ked that karate man. How did you not see this coming? Eight karate classes a day, and she’s still a white belt. F–k Tom. The only bruises she had were on her a–.”
Nikki Glaser also took a shot at Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen by declaring, “The only thing dumber than you saying yes to this roast is when you said, ‘Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu?’”
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen were married for 13 years before ending the marriage in 2022. The former couple share children Benjamin and Vivian. Brady also shares son Jack with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, who also was made fun of during the roast event.
Gisele Bündchen Is Reportedly Angry About the Comments Made About Her During Tom Brady Roast Special
Following Tom Brady’s roast special premiere, it was revealed that Gisele Bündchen wasn’t thrilled about the jokes.
A source told In Touch, “Gisele isn’t just furious with the people who roasted Tom and made fun of her, she’s livid with Tom for even agreeing to do it. He knew the jokes would be cruel and aimed at his marriage and at her, but he did it anyway. She blames Tom for not even taking her or their children into consideration.”
Another source stated Gisele Bündchen was also “deeply disappointed” by the jokes about her marriage to Tom Brady. “As always, [Bündchen’s] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted.”
