Despite the recent controversy caused by Netflix’s Roast of Tom Brady, the former NFL star took to his Instagram to post a Mother’s Day tribute to his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.

“Happy Mother’s Day to these kind, caring, compassionate, and POWERFUL moms that I’m lucky to have in my life. None of this would be possible without your love,” Brady wrote in the post.
Along with Gisele Bündchen, others featured in Tom Brady’s tribute were his mother Galynn, and the mother of his firstborn, Bridget Moynahan.
Brady was notably slammed by critics after he “allowed” comedians to make jokes about both Bündchen and Moynahan during the Netflix special.
Kevin Hart, who was the host of the special, alleged that Gisele Bündchen had cheated on Tom Brady with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente. “You know who else f–ked their coach? Gisele. She f–ked that karate man. How did you not see this coming? Eight karate classes a day, and she’s still a white belt. F–k Tom. The only bruises she had were on her a–.”
Fellow comedian Nikki Glaser declared to Brady, “The only thing dumber than you saying yes to this roast is when you said, ‘Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu?’”
Glaser also commented on Moynahan during her bit. She called Brady out for breaking up with Moynahan while she was pregnant. “Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long,” Glaser said. “You retired then came back then retired, I get it. It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend.”
Glaser then added that Brady didn’t know Moynahan was pregnant, he just thought “she was getting fat.”
Bridget Moynahan and Gisele Bündchen Now Working Together on Great Cause Amid Tom Brady Roast Drama
Not letting Tom Brady and the roast get to them, Bridget Moynahan and Gisele Bündchen are now working together on helping those involved in the ongoing flood crisis in Brazil.
Bündchen recently asked her followers to donate to the Luz Alliance Fund, which is an initiative dedicated to providing humanitarian relief in Brazil. Moynahan also spoke out in a recent Instagram post.
“Heavy rains which caused widespread flooding in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul have left hundreds of towns underwater,” she wrote. “And more than 160,000 people displaced. The floods have destroyed the roads and bridges in several cities, triggering landslides and leaving a path of destruction in its wake.”
Moynahan also encouraged her followers to help the local charities and organizations working on the ground in Brazil to help those in need.
