In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Lil Tay Rips called out Siwa for allegedly liking a post calling her “pathetic” as well as a “meme” and claiming she has no career.
Directly addressing JoJo Siwa, Lil Tay Rips stated the singer’s petty move didn’t go unnoticed. “You’re a scary a— b-tch,” the social media star stated. “If you have something [sic] say about me, say it [and] this time DON’T delete your comment or unlike shady tweets.”
Lil Rips continued her slam on Siwa by pointing out that the Dance Moms alum’s ego may be responsible for this social media shade. “Don’t let those paid YouTube view and botted Spotify streams get your Madonna from dollar tree a— b—.”
The shady post that JoJo Siwa allegedly liked reads, “There’s really no comparison between JoJo and Lil Tay anyway. JoJo has a career. Lil Tay is just a meme, and a pathetic one at that.”
Siwa has since “unliked” the post.
Lil Tay Rips JoJo Siwa for Being a ‘Fraud’
The drama between JoJo Siwa and Lil Tay Rips started over the weekend. After being compared to Siwa, the rapper was vocal about not wanting anything to do with the former reality TV star.
Lil Tay took to X to share some thoughts after an X user jokingly called her Siwa while sharing a clip from her SUCKER 4 GREEN music video. “Oh get JoJo Siwa off the floor.”
“Wish I didn’t just find out who that is,” she wrote. “I wrote SUCKER 4 GREEN myself. Didn’t buy the song or hire a ghostwriter. Please don’t mention me [and] her in the same sentence.”
Another X user pointed out that the original poster was originally trying to drag JoJo Siwa by saying Lil Tay did the rebrand properly. “I didn’t interpret it as him saying you ghostwrite,” they wrote.
Lil Tay stated that she agrees with the original poster. “I’m just stating I didn’t know who she was, but after some research, I found out she associates herself with pedophiles, buys her songs, and doesn’t write her music, and I take my music very seriously, and don’t want to be compared to frauds.”
JoJo Siwa released her new song Karma and its music video earlier this month. However, rumors began circulating that she stole the track from Miley Cyrus and Brit Smith.
She admitted to TMZ that the song was actually pitched to her. “What happens is, people write songs and then they just don’t do anything with them,” Siwa explained. “And then, a few years later, it makes more sense for another artist.”
“I didn’t steal anything,” Siwa added. “There’s no such thing as stealing – I also don’t know who Brit Smith is.”
The song was sung by Brit Smith in 2012 after Cyrus passed on it. Smith even created a music video for the track, which is currently trending on TikTok.
