Snoop Dogg Talks About His Key Role in the 2024 Olympics
Just before the 2024 Olympics began, Snoop Dogg opened up about his key role for the exciting and iconic sporting event.
“My preparation for primetime is being me. Google me. Look me up, dog,” Snoop told reporters, per Variety. “I’ve done fighting a bit. I’ve done sporting events. This is what I do. I’ve been doing this since y’all have been goldfish.
Snoop Dogg then said that what viewers will discover is that, “I know the sport, I know the angle, I know the conversations.”
To prepare for this year’s Olympics, Snoop Dogg arrived 10 days before the Opening Ceremony to interact with Olympians. “I’ve been sliding into the practice facilities with different teams, whether it was judo, weightlifting, three-on-three basketball, fencing. I’m one of those individuals that likes to get involved. Not only do I communicate and talk with them, I may try the event,” he said.
Snoop then added that he is “learning the backstory of these athletes and their families, and then learning the backstory of some of these events — these sporting events I have no clue about — but [I’m] learning and loving them at the same time.”
