A video has been circulating on the internet of Prince William at his latest outing. Prince William ventured to Southsea Common on June 5 to commemorate the D-Day landings.
During the event, a veteran approached him and asked if his wife, Kate Middleton, was “getting any better.” In the clip, William assured everyone that she was fine, adding, “She’d have loved to be here today.”

Kate Middleton Gives Important Update
Kate Middleton, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, has been out of the spotlight since the announcement on March 22. In a statement written by the princess, she said she would resume her responsibilities when the time was appropriate.
“We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment,” Princess Kate said in the video. “My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.”
King Charles ‘Frustrated’ Amid Cancer Diagnosis
William was not the only royal present at the commemoration as King Charles and Queen Camilla were also in attendance. This marked the first trip for the King since he too was diagnosed with cancer on February 5. In an interview back in March, the monarch’s nephew Peter Phillips said Charles was “frustrated that he can’t get on and do everything that he wants to be able to do.”
“He is always pushing, his staff and everybody and his doctors and nurses to be able to say, ‘Actually, can I do this? Can I do that?’ ” Peter said regarding uncle. “So the overriding message would be that he’s obviously very keen to get back to a form of normality.”
There were also omissions at the ceremony. Most notable the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Megan Markle. The couple were not invited to the celebration. The two departed from the Royal Kingdom in 2020.
Their departure from the Kingdom came after, there was concern among the Royals about the skin color of their son, Archie. Markle revealed the shocking details in an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2020.
