A bulldog who’s been through the wringer has finally hit the jackpot with a forever home, courtesy of the Osbournes.
In a recent episode of The Osbournes Podcast, the former reality TV family shared the tale of their latest adoption. He’s a dog who had a rough start, having been set on fire.
Family matriarch Sharon Osbourne discovered the pooch. “I was scrolling TikTok … and I saw this little angel, and he had been set on fire and left [behind], and he was very, very skinny.”
“And a guy saw him, saved him, and the Underdog Heroes Rescue took him in and basically saved his life,” Sharon recalled. “Everything they do is to rescue dogs that have been harmed.”
Jack Osbourne praised the rescue organization for doing “a great job” with the animal, noting that it was “severely burned.”
“How can a human being do what was done to this dog? I don’t understand how sick people can be,” Kelly Osbourne added.
The Osbournes Are Mulling Over Three Interesting Name Options For Their New Bulldog
In her candid discussion about the bulldog, Sharon Osbourne described him as “the mellowest and most friendly dog ever.”
Kelly shared her thoughts on what she described as “the most beautiful thing” about adopting the injured dog, despite the severe mistreatment he had endured.
“After such terrible things were done to him, he still is so full of love. He is a happy dog,” she marveled.
Of course, leave it to the Prince of Darkness himself to ponder why the bulldog met such a merciless fate. “I don’t know how anyone could find [the dog and say], ‘Oh, I’m going to set this f—— dog on fire,” family patriarch Ozzy Osbourne quipped.
Ozzy also lamented that many people adopted dogs during the COVID pandemic, only to return them once they had to go back to the office or resume their normal activities.
The family is also mulling over a name for their new furry friend, tossing around a few options. The Osbournes, famous for their animal rescues, are toying with “Walter,” “Baby,” and “Porkchop”—because every pup deserves a name with character!
