Lindsay Lohan Opens Up About How Her Husband and Son Support Her Acting Career
During a recent interview with Bustle, Lindsay Lohan spoke about how her husband Bader Shammas remains supportive of her acting career.
“He will support me because I’m in it,” Lohan explained. “You know what I mean?”[I like to include him in my work because] he’s very intuitive and has a very good understanding of how things are going to work out in the end.”

Lindsay Lohan also spoke about her new life as a mother. “It’s a whole new, different kind of love you thought you could never experience,” she said. The actress then recalled having Shammas and Luai with her to shoot Irish Wish. She pointed out that the experience added an “emotional layer” to her work.
“I had a scene where I was crying,” she reflected. “And then my husband surprised me with the baby on set, so then I was crying again, happy tears.”
Further reflecting on the early days of her acting career, Lindsay Lohan spoke about the pressures she faced. “I feel like some of [my work] got overshadowed by paparazzi and all that kind of stuff when I was younger, and that’s kind of annoying. I wish that part didn’t happen.”
Lohan went speak about the emotional impact the paparazzi and other incidents caused. “I feel like that kind of took on a life of its own. So that’s why I wanted to disappear. I was like, ‘Unless there’s no story here, they’re not going to focus on just my work.’”
Lohan went on to add that she’s mainly focused on the positive things in life. “My stuff is positive manifestations and baby foods.”
