Sources close to the LAPD revealed to TMZ that due to the Grammys being a private event and no one contacted law enforcement, Censori will not be charged for the incident.
Separate sources connected to the Grammys organizers also revealed that AEG officials and the Recording Academy had security on site when Bianca Censori and Kanye West pulled their red carpet stunt. However, no one made a formal complaint.
On Sunday, as she and West made their way to the 2025 Grammys in downtown Los Angeles, Censori removed her large black fur coat to reveal a completely see-through dress.
Despite previous reports, West was an invited guest. He allegedly told the event’s organizers he wanted to walk the red carpet. Sources stated that Censori’s outfit choice caught the organizers off guard. They had no idea what she was going to be wearing to the event.
After posing for a few snaps, Kanye West and Bianca Censori left the event.
Although Censori will not face any charges for her indecent exposure, West has reportedly a $20 million deal to perform multiple shows in Japan this spring.
“Kanye is just f—ing up every opportunity that comes to him,” a source told the media outlet. “The stunt was creepy beyond belief and has been greeted with horror in Japan.”
Kanye West Claims He and Bianca Censori ‘Beat the Grammys’ WIth Red Carpet Stunt
Days after the red carpet stunt, Kanye West told TMZ that he and Bianca Censori “beat” the Grammys.
“Ask us how it was to beat the Grammys,” West stated. When the cameraman asked the question, he replied, “We beat the Grammys.”
On Tuesday, West posted an Instagram Story declaring Censori the “most googled person on earth.”
“We beat the Grammies [sic],” West stated in another Instagram Story. “For clarity, February 4th, 2025, my wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth.”
According to the New York Post, a professional lip reader claimed what West said while he and Censori were on the red carpet. He allegedly told her to “make a scene.”
A body language expert also claimed that Censori showed “fear” while on the red carpet, and her outfit was the “ultimate attention-seeking statement.”
