Dealing with a terrifying situation, Kourtney Kardashian receives a ransom note that was left after her Lemme truck and $4 million in products were stolen this past weekend.
According to TMZ, the truck was at a San Fernando Valley facility that Kardashian is using to ship out products for her Lemme brand. The vehicle reportedly had $4 million worth of Lemme Burn, which is considered one of the top-selling products for the brand.
The incident occurred after an individual supposedly hacked into the facility’s system and was able to get onto the property with falsified paperwork and identification. They were able to leave the property in the vehicle without any issues.
A source told the media outlet that a ransom note was sent to the Lemme group. The sender demanded payment in exchange for all of Kourtney Kardashian’s products. One of the Lemme reps further shared with TMZ more details about the situation.
“Our team is working closely with law enforcement agencies to investigate the theft. In the meantime, we are implementing contingency plans to minimize any impact to our customers and retail partners.”
Kourtney Kardashian Launched Lemme After Feeling ‘Pressure’ From Her Family
During a June 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian revealed the real reason behind her decision to launch the Lemme brand. The brand features all-natural edible (non-CBD) supplements.
“I’m a really authentic person and I can’t force anything,” Kourtney explained, per PEOPLE. “I think there was this pressure from Kim and my mom like, ‘What’s your thing? What’s your business?”
Kourtney Kardashian also told WSJ Magazine that she had launched Lemme in Sept. 2022 after researching for more than five years. “My process [with a new product] is take it to my natural doctor, and he would muscle test me with it,” she said. “I would hold the product in my hand, and he would see how it reacts to my body.”
“Some things test well but most of the time things didn’t test well on me. I found it so interesting when he would say, ‘Oh, it’s because they’re using corn or corn syrup or it’s genetically modified.’”
Among the Lemme products are Lemme Chill, Lemme Focus, and Lemme Matcha. “Matcha is probably my favorite gummy,” Kardashian continued. “It has B12, [so] it’s not like jittery caffeine energy.”
“Matcha naturally has caffeine, so it’s not caffeine-free, but it’s like the tiniest bit of caffeine. The B12 and the coenzyme Q10 give you that sustained energy. I feel really passionate about the ingredients and the combinations.”
