Comedic roasts tend to get a little rowdy, but Tom was a good sport about the jokes for the most part. And his reward was almost as handsome as he is. After the show, famed comedian Kevin Hart presented him with a blinged-out ring.
Kevin Hart Gifts Tom Brady $40K Ring
“Tom, you deserve another f—king ring, but a ring fitting for a GOAT like yourself,” Hart said while presenting Brady with the ring.
And Tom’s new jewels come with a hefty price tag. According to TMZ, the ring cost $40,000.
“The ring Kevin Hart gifted to Tom Brady for being such a good sport during Sunday night’s roast wasn’t merely a prop … TMZ Sports has learned it’s the real deal — coming in with a staggering worth of $40,000!!!” TMZ wrote.
“We’re told celeb jeweler Jason Arashaben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills — who actually created TB12’s final Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl ring — was the mastermind behind the piece.”
Comedian Gets Candid About His Height
Kevin Hart is one of the most famous actors in Hollywood. His movies have grossed hundreds of millions of dollars. But despite his large success in the film industry, Hart has been unable to escape the quips about his height.
For some people being short is a disadvantage. But Hart took a different approach. His ability to be able to laugh at his height along with others birthed a comedic schtick that he has been able to use in his stand-up for years. And he credits his lightheartedness for his success.
“It’s talking about the things that you aren’t afraid to laugh at about yourself,” he said.
“I’m really confident that the laugh that I’m getting, you’re not laughing necessarily at me as if I’m a joke. You’re laughing at the experience. I’m giving you an experience through a story that is relatable. And more importantly, I’m saying things that other people just don’t have the heart to say.”
