Kelly Clarkson is getting candid about her weight loss. The singer and TV host revealed that she did use weight loss drugs to help achieve her new weight. Rather than Ozempic, however, she used an alternative weight loss drug – and you can too, when you buy Semaglutide in the form of Weight Drops, a cheaper, needle-free alternative to the viral medication.
During Monday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the singer also revealed that she was 203 at her heaviest.
She said, “Mine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having to do that too,’ the A Moment Like This songstress told the EGOT winner. ‘Everybody thinks it’s Ozempic, it’s not – it’s something else.”
Clarkson allegedly lost around 60 pounds in total. Clarkson said she agreed to the weight loss medication after her doctor insisted she take it. “My doctor chased me for like two years,” she said. “And I was like, ‘No, I’m afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems, I was afraid.'”
According to Clarkson, her medication has aided in ” helping break down the sugar” because her “body doesn’t do it right.” Clarkson’s transformation is so dramatic that she doesn’t even recognize old videos of herself.
Kelly Clarkson Opens Up About Her Dramatic Weight Loss
She said, “Seeing yourself, I didn’t see it… all of a sudden, I was like ‘Who the f*** is that?'”
She also added, “It’s a weird thing … I never saw that, I was never insecure about it – I just did not see that.” Clarkson said she was concerned she was “about to die of a heart attack.”
The singer drew backlash for her admission. Previously, Clarkson implied that she lost the weight from a combination of dieting and exercise.
She said, “I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor – a couple [of] years I didn’t. And 90 percent of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat – sorry, vegetarians in the world!”
Clarkson also opened up about having bulimia in the past. She said that she thought it would help her lose weight but led to an eating problem. “I was miserable, like, inside and out, for four years of my life,” the singer explained. “But no one cared, because aesthetically you make sense.”
