In a new social media, Mallette shared her excitement and joy to learn that her son Bieber and his wife Hailey are expecting their first child. She said it’s something that she’s been waiting on forever.
“So I have been waiting for this day and now that they have shared it I can finally celebrate with ya’ll,” Mallette said. “Oh my gosh, I’m going to be a grandma. Oh my goodness!”
She continued, “Justin and Hailey you are going to be the best parents ever and I am so excited. Oh my goodness. Praise God.” She further congratulated Justin and Hailey in the captions, saying that her “heart is so full.”“What an exciting new adventure,” she wrote. “Love you so much!”
Justin Bieber’s Mother Isn’t The Only One Excited
Justin and Hailey Bieber officially announced that she was pregnant in a scenic black and white video. It featured the two renewing their wedding vows in a field with plenty of closeups on Hailey’s very pregnant belly.
The news comes after Hailey previously talked about her hopes of having kids with Justin Bieber. “I literally cry about this all the time!” Hailey told The Sunday Times. “I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”
She said that the two have the support to raise their kids. “We can only do the best we can to raise them,” she said. “As long as they feel loved and safe.”
However, one thing that both Justin and Hailey will have to contend with is the spotlight. In particular, internet trolls have savaged Hailey in the past with death threats coming from Selena Gomez fans. It got so bad that Gomez herself had to tell them to knock it out.
“I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks about how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I,” Hailey wrote in her own Instagram Story at the time. “The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this, which is extremely harmful.”
“We all need to be more thoughtful about what we post and what we say including myself,” she continued. “In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion.”
