Gisele Bündchen is shutting down rumors of cheating on Tom Brady, labeling her new relationship as unmistakably one-of-a-kind.
In a recent interview promoting her cookbook, the supermodel candidly shared that she remained faithful to Brady before their divorce in 2022.
“That’s not true,” Bündchen told the New York Times, refuting the allegations of beginning a relationship with her jiu-jitsu trainer, Joaquim Valente, before parting ways with the retired NFL star.
“I really don’t want to make my life a tabloid,” she continued regarding rumors of infidelity. “I don’t want to open myself up to all of that.”

Gisele Bündchen also recognized the unjust criticism she received following her and Tom Brady’s breakup.
“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” she reasoned. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family.”
As her relationship was high-profile, she believes it faced additional scrutiny. “Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified,” Bündchen explained.
Ultimately, behind rumors and gossip, only two people know the real truth, the supermodel and cookbook author insisted. “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship,” she pointed out.

Meanwhile, she opened up about her current flame, who she knew as a martial arts teacher before romance blossomed. “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she revealed about jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente.
“It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent,” she added.
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady filed for divorce on October 28, 2022, ending their 13-year marriage. The court officially dissolved their marriage on the same day, citing it as “irretrievably broken.”
The couple initially crossed paths in December 2006 during a blind date orchestrated by mutual acquaintances. They have two children together: Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10.
