Diddy Spotted Out Amid Assault Backlash
Combs received a myriad of backlash after the video was released. But TMZ spotted him strolling out and about in Miami, seemingly unbothered.
“The rap mogul looked unbothered as he smoked a cigar while taking a stroll through his Miami neighborhood Sunday,” TMZ wrote.
“Dressed in an all-white outfit and wearing a medallion. Which featured a childhood photo of himself and his father. Diddy appeared to be signaling something with his look … although, he stayed mum when he ran into photogs.”
Alex Fine Releases Statement After Cassie Video
Diddy and Cassie were together for several years before they ultimately split in 2018. It did not take Cassie long to find love again. In 2019, she married Alex Fine. The couple now has two daughters together. Following the release of the footage fine released a statement. In the statement, he notes that men who assault women “aren’t men.”
“Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men,” Fine said.
In the statement fine also adds that even if you are not an abuser, you are still responsible for addressing abusers who you are close to.
“As men, violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family,” he added. “Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the utmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women.”
Fine also added that his statement was not a direct response to the Bad Boy Founder. He insists that he wrote the statement “awhile back” but he felt that now was a most appropriate time to share it.
“Wrote this a while back but the words ring true not just today but every day. I want my kids and every kid to live in a world that’s safe for women and girls, protects them, and treats them as equals,” he captioned the post. “To the women and children, you’re not alone, and you are heard. if you need help call the domestic violence hotline at (800) 799-7233.”
