At the 2024 ACE Awards in NYC on Tuesday night, Teigen turned heads in a completely transparent dress, creating a bold fashion statement on the red carpet. This eye-catching appearance followed concerns raised on Monday when the star was seen wearing a neck brace in an Instagram post.
The flowers adorning Teigen’s gown were meticulously arranged to conceal her chest and private regions. However, it seemed she opted for a nude thong beneath the elegant floral dress.
Teigan grabbed attention with her accessories, a beaded white clutch, and eye-catching shoulder-length earrings. She also wore her hair in beachy waves and chose bronzed makeup with glossy, earth-toned lipstick, highlighting her natural beauty.
Chrissy Teigen’s sheer dress also had an elegant tulle train, paired with glitzy open-toe heels.
Per its official website, the Accessories Council established the awards in 1996 for “companies, brands, individuals, retailers, and designers who have made a lasting and meaningful contribution to our industry.”
The website added, “The recipients represent an impressive list of tastemakers that have created memorable and history-changing impacts across all accessory categories”
Was Chrissy Teigen’s Sheer Floral Dress Intended for the Met Gala?
Meanwhile, the Met Gala was themed “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” with a “The Garden of Time” dress code. Now the night after, Teigen dons a dress with flowers embroidered on it. Is it shade, a repurposed gown, or a mere coincidence?
Regardless, the Met Gala was clearly on Chrissy’s mind Monday evening. Teigen posted multiple pictures, showcasing herself wearing the white neck brace that night. She jokingly captioned one, “@ the MET!”
The model later explained that her absence from the Met Gala was not due to her neck injury.
“This is not why I’m not at the Met. I was never going to the Met this year. Please. I’m so stupid for having made this a thing. I’m sorry,” she added.
“It’s just a CVS neck band, and I just can’t rotate my neck because I tried to do a headstand and it didn’t go well at all,” she continued. “There’s no story. I promise, that’s it.”
