While on stage performing alongside Renee Rapp, Kesha performed the 2009 hit track. However, instead of singing the original opening, “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P. Diddy,” she went with, “Wake in the mornin’ like f— P. Diddy.’”
Kesha and Rapp then threw up their middle fingers before continuing the song.
This wasn’t the first time that Kesha performed the song with a different opening. She previously changed the lyrics to “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like me” after Diddy was accused of sexually assaulting Cassie Ventura. Diddy. has since been sued by former employee, Rodney “Lil Ron” Jones for sexual assault.
Jones also accused Diddy of being involved in a human trafficking situation. The accusation triggered a federal investigation as well as raids at multiple properties owned by the famous rapper.
50 Cent took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts about Kesha’s Diddy diss. “LOL she said [middle finger emoji] fvck P DIDDY, HAHAAAHAHAHA,” he wrote. “PUFFY LIKE 50 TOLD HER TO SAY!”
The rapper then shared a video of Kesha’s Tik Tok performance at Coachella.
50 Cent Has Continuously Dragged Diddy Over Rodney Jones’ Lawsuit
50 Cent has been nonstop going after Diddy’s legal woes started being reported in late 2023. After Ventura’s lawsuit drew public attention, 50 Cent declared he was planning to do a documentary through his G-Unit Films division about the history of sexual misconduct allegations against the fellow rapper. The proceeds from the documentary would go towards victims of sexual assault.
The In Da Club rapper became even more vocal with his Diddy criticism after Jones’ lawsuit. Per Vibe, in a since-deleted Instagram post, the rapper shared a picture of an article by TMZ about the situation. “Aww s—,” he wrote. “I’m on the floor dead somebody bring me back to life.”
After that, 50 Cent shared and deleted a photo of Diddy with Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather where it looked like they were going to kiss. “Maybe this is a big misunderstanding,” he wrote. “I just don’t go to the man’s parties. This is just not my kinda vibe.”
When his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son Sire, Daphne Joy, made headlines over allegedly being a sex worker for Diddy, 50 Cent was pretty vocal about the allegation. “I didn’t know you was a sex worker,” he wrote in an Instagram post with a pic of him smoking a cigar. “You little sex worker LOL.”
Diddy has denied all allegations against him.
