Multiple sources told TMZ that 50 Cent’s docuseries, Diddy Do It, is about the allegations made against the Bad Boy Records founder and was produced by 50’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios.
Among the allegations that will be addressed is one from Diddy’s on-and-off ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who accused the famous rapper of physically abusing her as well as sexually assaulting her.
Although Ventura’s lawsuit against Diddy was settled, a recent video of him beating her in a hotel hallway has surfaced.
The sources also say that Netflix went up against multiple streaming platforms to purchase the docuseries. They also said that the docuseries will hit the streaming giant’s platform sooner rather than later.
50 Cent confirmed the news by posting a snapshot of TMZ’s story on his Instagram account. “TMZ use this fat boy picture of me because their doc went to Tubi,” he wrote in the caption. “It’s ok guys we’re all making good television mines just happens to be the best!”
The rapper also stated, “NETFLIX wins the bidding war but if more victims keep coming out, I’m gonna need more episodes.”
50 Cent’s victim remark is about a model Crystal McKinney accusing Diddy of sexually assaulting her in 2003. Along with McKinney and Ventura, Diddy was also sued by his former producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. His lawsuit claims, which included human trafficking and sexual assault, led to the Department of Home Security raiding Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes.
What 50 Cent Has Publicly Said About Diddy
50 Cent has been one of DIddy’s most outspoken critics since the allegations surfaced. Both rappers haven’t been friendly towards each other over the years, so it wasn’t a love-loss in 50’s eyes.
However, 50’s criticism about Diddy seemed to escalate when his former girlfriend and the mother of his son Sire, Daphne Joy, was named in Jones’ lawsuit as being a sex worker who was paid by Diddy.
Following the raids on Diddy’s homes, 50 Cent announced his docuseries Diddy Do It? “This is gonna break records when this drops,” he declared at the time.
After that, he called out Joy for being involved with Diddy. “You moved a mile away in hopes of having another baby with me but I was busy. So you moved back and then you started receiving money from Brother Love. Now here we are, little sex worker,” he wrote.
50 Cent has continued to make subtle remarks against Diddy, and recently called out the rapper for what happened in the hotel video. “Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing!” he wrote. “This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all.”
