Another wild plane incident has occurred this week, this time in Dallas, Texas. And just like many of the other recent airplane incidents, it was captured on film, thus going viral on social media.
Torrential weather conditions, including strong winds, caused American Airlines plane 737-800 to be pushed away from its gate on May 28. The winds were said to have been as strong as 80 miles per hour. The incident occurred at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Luckily for everyone on board, there are no reported fatalities or injuries.

American Airlines Plane Incident Has Led to Several Delays
Although there were no reported injuries, the airline still had a lot to deal with in the aftermath of the incident. There have been a multitude of flight delays and cancellations for American Airlines flights.
“According to data from FlightAware, operations at DFW have been in absolute chaos today. Fifteen percent of departures have been canceled, and 34% have been delayed. That translates to 165 cancelations and 376 delays. Fifteen percent of arrivals have been canceled, or 15%. A further 370 arrivals have been delayed, 33% of operations,” Simple Flying wrote.
And the chaos has been so abundant that it has extended outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. There have also been several cancellations and delays in Houston as well.
“United Airlines has also suffered at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston,” Simple Flying added.
“IAH is a hub airport for United, and so far, 186 departures have been delayed there, amounting to 28%. Seven departing flights were canceled, totaling 1%. Only eight arriving flights were canceled, but 161% were delayed, 23% of the day’s arrivals.”
