The musician went on to reassure that he was fine. “I’m OK. I’m going to be OK, but I did have some serious burns on my face and my arms.”
Along with telling fans what happened, Sid Wilson gave his followers a close-up of his injuries. He was seen with singed eyebrows, a blister in the mouth, and several burns all over his face and arms.
The Slipknot bandmate further explained that doctors were making sure there was no internal damage. He had several x-rays on his chest to check for smoke inhalation.
In a separate video, Sid Wilson opened up about the explosion at the farm he shares with Kelly Osbourne. He stated he was out working on the farm and tried to stoke a bonfire. However, the situation took a turn when the explosion occurred.

Kelly Osbourne then stated that Sid Wilson “literally set himself” on fire. “Exploded everything,” she declared. “Ugh.”
In the second video, Wilson continuously reassured fans by stating he was “going to be alright” and that he would do “what it takes” to see them on tour again. “I’m going to be ok everyone. Love you all.”
He has since been released from the hospital.
Fan Calls Out Sid Wilson For Doing an Instagram Live While Receiving Burn Care
Although most of his followers offered support and well wishes, not everyone was thrilled that Sid Wilson did an Instagram Live while he was receiving medical care.
During the Live, Wilson was seen removing his oxygen tube to speak, which was frustrating to one follower. “Think I’d of thrown your phone across the ER and told you to put your own oxygen back in,” the follower explained. “If you can hold your phone you can put your nasal tube back in.”
They continued by stating, “What has the world come to where people find it more important to film themselves being treated and having an X-ray rather than letting the staff get on and do their job.”
Other followers had the same thought and called out the Slipknot bandmate. “Imagine filming yourself when your in the position and nurses are trying to do their job,” a fellow follower pointed out. “Weird..”
Another added, “Imagine trying to work on a patient but they’re more concerned with getting Instagram videos. Lol.”
