Sean “Diddy” Combs (allegedly) knows what it sounds like when doves cry, as a bodyguard claims he sacrificed one. Combs reportedly performed the fowl ceremony just hours before he was cleared of all charges from the 1999 New York nightclub shooting.

Diddy, along with rapper Shyne, now known as Moses Barrow, faced trial following a shooting at Manhattan’s Club New York, which resulted in injuries to three bystanders.
In the new Hulu documentary The Honorable Shyne, Combs’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal, alleges that Combs stopped in New York’s Central Park while en route to hear the trial verdict.
The bodyguard reported witnessing the mysterious man holding a Bible as he prayed and placed his hands on Combs. The apparent mystic then commanded Combs to release a white bird from a cage.
After Diddy launched the dove skyward, it immediately fell to the earth, lifeless. The ritual was complete. An unholy pledge (allegedly) fulfilled.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Alleged Bird Sacrifice Spared Him, But Not His Friend
Several hours later, Diddy discovered that he had been cleared of all charges, which could have resulted in 15 years in prison for the rapper and mogul.
However, Moses “Shyne” Barrow apparently didn’t have a mystic on hand to perform a blood sacrifice. He was found guilty of assault and reckless endangerment, resulting in a nine-year sentence in a maximum security prison.
In the documentary, Moses “Shyne” Barrow accuses Diddy of making him the scapegoat in the case, asserting that it was part of a “demonic” scheme orchestrated by Diddy, allegations that Diddy denies.
Moses “Shyne” Barrow Says Diddy ‘Destroyed’ His Life
Earlier this year, Barrow, who is now a politician and Leader of the Opposition in Belize, gave an interview in his home country. He stated that Combs had “destroyed my life.”
“He pretty much sent me to prison,” Barrow told Belize’s Channel 5. “That is the context by which you must always describe that relationship. Yes, I forgave. I moved on. But let us not pretend as if I was in Miami for Thanksgiving and Christmas.”
Moses “Shyne” Barrow also admitted to keeping up appearances with Diddy to ensure the mogul invested in Belize.
“This is someone who destroyed my life, and who I forgave, and who I moved on, and for the better interest of Belize, because he was in a position at that time to give scholarships and to maybe invest. I would not deny attempting to bring the investment to Belize and contribution to education to Belize,” he added.
However, Barrow claims he isn’t pleased with Diddy’s recent legal struggles.
“Do I take any joy with what he is going through? Absolutely not. I am different than other people — no one needs to fail for me to succeed.”
