According to TMZ, the veteran rapper’s family hit the town Thursday night, celebrating his teenage daughter Chance’s high school graduation ceremony.
Two of Diddy’s children, Justin and Christian “King” Combs, were among those who celebrated the graduation at Mr. Chow. According to TMZ, they appeared to be in high spirits.
Christian was the only one engaging with the cameras, except for Quincy, who was also enjoying himself. When asked about Diddy’s well-being, Christian assured everyone that his father was doing just fine, despite a grand jury being convened.
Meanwhile, Justin remained rather quiet on the subject. He didn’t say much when asked about his dad. However, being out and about celebrating implies some serious confidence.
Combs welcomed King in 1998 with Kim Porter, with whom he also shares twins Jessie and D’Lila. He also raised Quincy, Porter’s son from her previous relationship with Al B. Sure! Diddy co-parents his son Justin, 30, with Misa Hylton; his daughter Chance with Sarah Chapman; and his daughter Love, 1, with Dana Tran.
Diddy Dipped on Another Big Day for His Daughters
Of course, there’s good reason for Diddy to dip on his daughter’s big day. The mogul appears to be laying low in Miami as his legal troubles escalate.
While Diddy did not provide details about his decision, sources say his family believes he is laying low due to increasing legal issues, reportedly under a federal grand jury investigation in New York City.
Reports indicate that a few weeks ago, the rapper also missed the junior prom attended by his children, Jessie and D’Lila. The twins’ mother, Kim Porter, passed away in 2018.
Diddy reportedly remains in Miami. This was the very location where he was reportedly getting ready for a spring break trip with his children in March. However, federal authorities intercepted his private jet in Florida.
At the time, sources indicated that the rapper was under federal investigation for sex trafficking, money laundering, and illegal drug activities. Despite not facing any travel restrictions from federal authorities, he has opted to stay in Miami.
Since November, Combs has faced eight civil suits, seven alleging sexual assault. He denies these claims, stating the accusers are motivated by financial gain.
Of course, he had to acknowledge his involvement in domestic violence when a disturbing video surfaced. The footage captures him assaulting his ex, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel room in 2016.
