Scottie Pippen and his ex-wife Larsa Pippen have found themselves in hot water. Page Six confirms that the former couple is facing a harassment lawsuit from one of Scottie’s ex-girlfriends, Chyvette Valentine.
“According to court documents reviewed by Page Six, Valentine claimed that Scottie, the Chicago Bulls, his brother Carl T. Pippen, and the “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 49, caused her suffering,” Page Six writes.
“Valentine alleged that she had an on-and-off relationship with Scottie, 58, from 1987 to 1993 and their relationship ended because she was allegedly raped by the athlete and Carl.”
Accuser Says Assault Led to Birth of Late Son
Valentine also claims in the filing that the alleged sexual assault led to her getting pregnant. She gave birth to a son named Devonte who was killed in 2011. She also adds that the series of traumatic events has caused her emotional distress.
“The alleged sexual assault led to the birth of her late son, Devonte Pippen, who was killed in 2011. After their alleged romance ended, Valentine claimed in the suit that Scottie “used his celebrity as a Chicago Bulls player” to allegedly “stalk, harass and torment” her,” Page Six added.
“Those actions, she claimed in the filing, have caused her “severe mental and emotional issues.” She also claimed that she has lost several employment opportunities and housing over the six-time NBA champion’s alleged stalking.”
Larsa Pippen Gets Candid on Marcus
Larsa Pippen began dating Michael Jordan’s son Marcus last year. But some speculated the two had broken up earlier this year. Those rumors were fueled when Larsa removed all the photos of her and Jordan from her Instagram account.
“I feel like I was very emotional [and] I wish I didn’t delete those photos,” she said.
“I couldn’t archive them, just deleted them. Was just emotional and impulsive I guess. I’m a Cancer so I’m an emotional person so I feel like if you’re not loving me the right way I can distance myself and catch a beat.”
Even though rumors had swirled about the couple splitting, Pippen says that she and Jordan never broke up. She says the two just need a break to evaluate their future together.
“[We] didn’t break up, we kind of needed to just take a beat, gather our thoughts, and see if this relationship, you know what’s going to happen in the future,” Pippen said.
