Reality TV star Savannah Chrisley has revealed she is “devastated” over the loss of right-wing pundit Charlie Kirk.

Just after it was reported that the Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, the Chrisley Knows Best alum took to her social media accounts to speak out about the shocking loss.
Speaking about their friendship, Chrisley stated that Kirk was a “lifelong friend” who showed up for her during the “hardest” years of her life.
“[He was] someone who gave me a voice as a woman,” she explained. “Made me feel like I had the power to show up in this world.”

Although she said she did not “have the words” as she was still processing, Savannah Chrisley said she was supposed to join Charlie Kirk on his The American Comeback Tour next month.
She further sent her love to Charlie’s wife, Erika, telling her, “I love you. And I am with you.”
Chrisley also wrote in the post’s caption, “[Kirk] believed in me and in my family when the world turned its back. He saw potential, he spoke life into us, and he reminded me that God still had a plan even when I couldn’t see it myself. That kind of belief changes you forever.”

While debating about gun violence in the US, Kirk was shot in the neck. Although his security team was able to get him to a nearby hospital, the conservative influencer tragically lost his life at the age of 31.
President Trump announced the news about Kirk’s passing on Truth Social. “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” the world leader, who was close to Kirk, wrote. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.”
Trump further shared, “He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family.
The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson, was taken into custody following a 33-hour manhunt.
Kirk’s memorial service will take place on Sept. 21 in Glendale, Arizona, where he lived with Erika and two children.
