Police are seeking NFL star Rashee Rice as part of their investigation into a car accident that occurred in Dallas on Saturday.

According to law enforcement sources, the Dallas Morning News stated that a vehicle linked to Rice was reportedly in a collision in northeast Dallas around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday.
A Dallas police spokesperson informed the outlet that a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini driver were speeding, leading to both losing control. The Lamborghini collided with the median wall, triggering a chain reaction involving four other vehicles.
The police spokesperson said that individuals in both the Lamborghini and the Corvette fled the scene of the accident. She mentioned that four people sustained minor injuries, with two requiring hospitalization.
By Sunday morning, it remained uncertain if Rashee Rice would be charged, and the extent of his role in the accident was also ambiguous. As of 7 a.m. ET on Sunday, the outlet reported that Rice was not listed in Dallas County jail records.

Rice, aged 23, was raised in North Richland Hills, Texas, a suburb of Fort Worth. Rice attended Richland High School, where as a junior, he excelled by catching 72 passes for 1,386 yards and 19 touchdowns. This earned him the title of first team all-district.
His standout performance led to a three-star recruit rating. He later committed to playing college football at SMU before his senior year. During his final high school season, he had 51 receptions for 841 yards and five touchdowns.
He completed his four-year college career at SMU in Dallas. He was then selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the draft last year.
During his first season as a rookie, Rice made 79 receptions for 938 yards. He scored a team-leading seven touchdowns in 16 games, out of which he started eight.
Last season, he emerged as the primary wide receiver for Kansas City. He ranked second on the team in both receptions and receiving yards, just behind the standout tight end, Travis Kelce.
During the Chiefs’ four-game postseason journey to secure their second consecutive Super Bowl victory and third in the past five seasons, Rice made 26 receptions for 262 yards and scored a touchdown. Specifically in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2024 triumph against the 49ers, Rice contributed with six receptions for 39 yards.
