During Thursday’s episode of her self-titled podcast, Stewart told Donna she was begged not to mention the ME! hitmaker’s relationship with Travis Kelce. “But I wanted to say, you always look so great with her in the box when she was at the games with you,” the lifestyle guru observed.
Martha Stewart also told Donna Kelce that she previously Taylor Swift and found her to be lovely. “So good luck with that because this is some situation,” Stewart noted.
Responding without any hesitation, Donna said, “Well, you know, you never know. Time will tell, but I know they’re both friendly. They’re both generous.”
As Donna Kelce noted that Travice and Taylor are both loving, caring individuals, Martha Stewart pointed out, “And they’re both adults!”
Before changing the subject, Stewart told Donna that she was “indeed like a really great mom.”
Later in the podcast chat, Donna opened up to Martha about her youngest son being a “fashionista.”
“It’s more to put a smile on people’s faces,” Donna explained about Travis’ off-the-field outfit choices. “At times, I mean, he’ll dress the way he needs to , but most of the time he’s doing it make people laugh or talk.”
After Stewart referred to Travis as a “show off,” Donna agreed with the assessment. “Yes, he is. And he’s very, very generous, [with a] good heart.”
Donna Kelce Says She and Her Ex-Husband Ed Worked As a Team When Travis and Jason Were Younger
Opening up about her marriage with ex-husband Ed, Donna Kelce told Martha Stewart the former couple worked as a team when their songs Travis and Jason were younger. They divorced after the boys were done with college.
“[It’s] very, very difficult to raise children on your own,” Donna said. “And with as active as they were, how do you do that on your own? So we decided that we would be married throughout the entire time that the kids were in the house, and that’s the way it worked out.”
Donna previously told her sons on their New Heights podcast that she doesn’t have any ill will towards Ed, whom she divorced more than 10 years ago after 25 years of marriage.
“I don’t hate him,” she declared. “We’re friends to this day. We get along great.”
Donna also said she and Ed were a tag team for the boys. “We got to do all sorts of fun things. When one of you had to go out of town, the other person would help with the other child. It was perfect. Sometimes people move apart.”
When asked if she regrets marrying Ed, Donna said, “No, never, because I got you two.”
