Kelly Clarkson made an accidental dirty “meat” joke to Henry Golding on Thursday during The Kelly Clarkson Show. She apparently caught herself so off-guard that she had to walk it off, completely flustered.

Golding, the star of Crazy Rich Asians, attended Clarkson’s show to promote his new movie, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. The film, by Guy Ritchie, is “based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events.”
The action-comedy “tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming.”
Golding plays Freddy Alvarez, one of the members of the SSRF in the film.
During his appearance on her show, Golding mentioned that the last time he saw Clarkson was in her “tiny studio in LA.” He then highlighted the unique energy of New York, where her studio is now located.

After gushing about New York’s remarkable energy, Golding went on to say he had a pastrami sandwich for breakfast that morning.
“Is that like a morning thing to do for New Yorkers?” he asked, to which Clarkson — and her audience — replied “No.”
“So that’s a faux pas?” he asked as everyone laughed. “Damnit. I just felt like [eating] a pastrami sandwich.”
“Did someone say it’s a classic thing we do here?” Clarkson asked him.
“No,” Golding admitted. “I called my friend. I was like, ‘I’m having breakfast. I’m gonna get a pastrami sandwich.’ They’re like, ‘That is the strangest thing. That’s weird. Meat first thing in the morning? No good.'”
“Well, steak and eggs,” Clarkson reasoned with him.
She then added, seemingly without thinking it through, “I don’t mind meat in the morning.”
It took her a moment to absorb what she’d said. When her brain caught up, she immediately started nervously laughing, then got up and walked away from her chair.
“We gotta get a fan for you, Kelly,” Golding joked as Clarkson collected herself and took her seat again. “You look a little hot.”
“Are you serious?” she asked. “Those are the words I used? Did I just say that? It’s not a bad thing, though.”
