Jason Kelce is cracking up over his brother Travis’s latest fashion statement, topped off with a purr-fectly timed Taylor Swift cat joke.
When Travis sported jeans with a striking number of rips to an NBA Playoffs game on Sunday, May 26, a fan of his cat-loving girlfriend, Swift, responded to the fashion choice in a quintessentially Swiftie manner.
“What the f— did taylor cats do with his jeans?” a fan quipped on X (formerly Twitter) alongside a detailed snap of the shredded jeans.
Of course, Swift is a well-known pussy enthusiast. She owns three beloved kitties named Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.
Jason couldn’t resist the purr-suasion of the cat-themed joke and decided to repost it, adding his own endorsement.
“Now that’s funny!” Jason wrote alongside the repost on X.
During Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks, held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Travis sat courtside wearing tattered jeans.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight-end sported jeans paired with sunglasses that perfectly matched the large red apple on his white T-shirt. In photos, a laughing Travis enjoyed the NBA game alongside Chiefs teammates Marquise Brown and Patrick Mahomes, as well as Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes.

Jason Kelce Recently Took to Twitter to do More Than Poke Fun at Travis’s Jeans
Meanwhile, it seems Jason Kelce might have a bit too much time on his hands post-retirement. Jason’s quip about Travis Kelce’s jeans wasn’t his only recent response on X.
Last week on his New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis admitted that they didn’t wholeheartedly agree with Chief’s kicker Harrison Butker’s recent commencement speech. During the speech, Butker implied that women might be more rewarded in life if they focused more on being homemakers.
On Monday, an online troll targeted the retired NFL player.
“Your wife is a homemaker,” the X denizen wrote. “But you can’t support butker. And your wife is a homemaker whose home is a mess. Sorry but it is dirty and messy on television,” they added.
The troll then implied the brothers would soon see their NFL fanbase leave. “Y’all are going to be left with nothing but swifties. You just ruined your gig. It’s a shame,” they added.
“I think of her as my wife,” Jason wrote. “I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can.”
“Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals who are figuring it out on the daily. The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first.”
Kelce mentioned that having three kids and a busy work life adds to the messiness of their home.
“It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks. She also makes a mean sandwich,” he joked.
“If being a homemaker, works for some, and that’s what they want, then hell yeah, that’s awesome, more power to you,” Jason explained. “I want to be clear, I’m not downplaying that at all, but that is not our family dynamic.”
