Jake Paul isn’t one to shy away from a fight, even when it includes big name stars like Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid. The YouTuber has a history of starting fights online with other social media influencers. He recently set his sights a little higher when he challenged the former One Direction member after a confrontation at the Las Vegas resort they were both staying in.

First on the list of Jake’s feuds is his ex-girlfriend, Alissa Violet. The two started dating while living in Jake’s Team 10 home. Though both tell very different stories when it comes to whether they were officially “boyfriend/girlfriend,” (Jake says they were while Violet claims it was an on-again, off-again, casual relationship), both are certain of what ended the relationship for good.
Jake Paul And Alissa Violet Spill All
In a video posted to her channel after the unofficial couple officially broke up, Violet alleged that during their relationship, Jake “hooked up” with several girls, some right in front of her. Partially in retaliation for not being allowed on a “boys only” ski trip, Violet admitted to Shane Dawson that she did “cheat” on Jake with someone very close to him: his older brother Logan.
The cat was already out of the bag by the time Violet opened up about the incident on Dawson’s docuseries, The Mind of Jake Paul. Jake had tweeted about the so-called affair, though he later deleted the tweets. Savvy Twitter users took screenshots, however, that read in part, “Alissa [expletive]ed my brother… that’s why i kicked her out… oopsie I just told them the truth…” After everyone shared their side in the drama, it seemed like things cooled off for a bit. Then Violet started dating fellow YouTuber FaZe Banks.
Serious Accusations In Vlog Format
In 2017, Jake claimed Banks assaulted his assistant Megan at an LA nightclub. He posted a vlog to his channel, which has since been deleted, detailing the alleged assault, saying Megan was clotheslined by the rapper and Banks dragged her to his party area in an attempt to kiss her. This allegation ended up coming back to bite Jake after Banks and Violet made their own video about the events of that night.
Violet claimed that Jake was abusive to her during several points in their relationship and alleged that he’d spit in her face, thrown her into a thorny bush so hard it left a scar on her arm, and had knocked the wind out of her multiple times while “play fighting.” Jake denied her claims, but the damage was already done.
He lost almost 60,000 subscribers from his YouTube channel in the aftermath of his accusations and Violet and Banks’ rebuttals. After releasing one more video arguing his side, Jake finally posted a video admitting that he didn’t handle the situation correctly. If there was anything to learn from that situation, hasty reactions are a bad idea for Jake. After his tweets this past weekend, however, it doesn’t seem like that lesson stuck.
Itchy Twitter Fingers Lead To Epic Clapback
Both Malik and Jake were in Vegas last weekend to watch the Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder boxing match on Saturday. They found themselves as neighbors of sorts after they stayed in penthouses at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Jake, in a tweet that has since been deleted, said, “Almost had to clap up zane from 1 direction because he is a little guy and has an attitude and basically told me to [expletive] off for no reason when I was being nice to him. Zane ik you’re reading this… stop being angry cause u came home alone to ur big [expletive] hotel room hahaha.” Though he called Malik out by name, misspelled though it might be, Hadid was the one who responded to Jake’s tweet.
“Lol cause he doesn’t care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies ..?” Hadid wrote as a reply. “Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie. Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly [expletive]. Go to bed.”
Jake later appeared to regret his rash tweet in yet another tweet, though he didn’t specify what it was in regards to. “Someone needs to take my phone when i’m drunk because I am a [expletive] idiot,” the YouTuber tweeted Sunday evening. Perhaps this will serve as a reminder for Jake to be a little more discriminatory when it comes to posting online. Then again, something tells us this will be a lesson Jake Paul will have to relearn time and again.
