Despite previously stating he and his wife Gypsy Rose Blanchard were planning to wait for a bit before starting their family, Ryan Scott Anderson sparked some pregnancy rumors with a recent cryptic post.
In a recent Instagram post, Anderson posted a picture of him wrapping his arm around Blanchard’s belly while their dog snuggled up next to her. “Me and my little family cuddling together,” Anderson captioned the post with a heart emoji.
The post immediately grabbed the attention of many Instagram users wondering if Gypsy Rose Blanchard is pregnant. “I hope she’s pregnant and he isn’t just talking about her and the dog,” one Instagram user stated.
Another Instagram user declared, “I knew it!!!!” without really revealing what exactly they knew.
However, some Instagram users were quick to defend the couple’s privacy. “Nobody actually knows if she’s pregnant chill y’all, she’s also grown so who cares if she is?” a fellow user declared.
Others added they hoped Gypsy Rose Blanchard took a little breather after spending the last eight years of her life in prison. “While children are a blessing, I wish she could have had a little more alone time to explore and see the world, heal. You can certainly do those things [with] kids but I feel [with] her trauma, she should really focus on herself.”
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Said She Doesn’t Have ‘Any Reservations’ When It Comes to Having Children
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month, Gypsy Rose Blanchard spoke about her and Anderson having children in the future.
“I don’t have any reservations,” Blanchard explained. “We both have talked about starting a family, we just don’t know when yet.”
However, Gypsy Rose Blanchard seemingly said having children wasn’t happening anytime soon. “My life is a little hectic right now. So we’re just trying to take it day by day,” she noted. “We’re just trying to start off the marriage on a good foot before we bring kids into this situation right now.”
Blanchard also spoke to PEOPLE about the possibility of having children and how her past plays a huge role in how she will approach parenting. “Whenever someone says, ‘Do you think that because of what you went through, you’re going to do that to your kids?’ I say, ‘You know what? Absolutely not,” she said. “I have learned what not to do. I have no concerns about my parenting when it comes to that.”
She went on to add that she doesn’t expect to have any issues her marriage to Anderson. “I think this, being in prison, has been the hard part. I think when I’m at home with my family, with my husband’s arms around me and I’m surrounded by my loved ones, that is when I will be happy.”
