Not long after Elon Musk’s latest White House photo-op surfaced, the billionaire’s ex, Grimes, had some thoughts about her son, X Æ A-Xii or “Lil X,” and his visit to the Oval Office.

The Canadian musician, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, took to ex’s social media platform, X, to speak out against little X’s White House adventure.
“Lil X was very polite today!” one commenter wrote. “You raised him well. He was so cute when he told DJT ‘Please forgive me, I need to pee.’”
However, it appears that Grimes wasn’t aware of Lil X going to the White House with his father. “He should not be in public like this,” she wrote while responding to the compliment. “I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”

This isn’t the first time that Grimes has criticized Elon Musk when it comes to his parenting style. Last month, she called him out for “parading” their son around. “I have made it clear I do not approve of that in every conceivable way I know how,” she wrote. I am desperate to solve it. It is a personal tragedy to me. But currently, I don’t know how to do that.”
Elon Musk and Grimes share three children. Lil X, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, and Techno Mechanicus. Grimes previously described her ex as being “unrecognizable” and revealed that she spent “a year locked in battle” with the billionaire over the custody of the children. The custody battle was resolved in August 2024.
Musk has 12 children with three women.
Elon Musk Brings Lil X to the Oval Office For a DOGE Interview
While he and Lil X were in the Oval Office with President Donald Trump, Elon Musk spoke about how his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team continues to be “as transparent as possible,” as the department claims to expose “corruption” in other U.S. government agencies.
Despite the controversy surrounding Musk and DOGE, President Trump continues to remain confident in the department’s ability to find and eliminate wasteful spending. The world leader also signed a new executive order giving DOGE even more power and authority.
However, as President Trump and Elon Musk were discussing DOGE’s progress, Lil X spent his time making monster noises, sticking his fingers in his father’s ears, throwing himself on the floor, and picking his nose.

President Trump introduced Lil X by declaring, “This is X, and he’s a great guy. High IQ. He’s a high IQ individual.”
“I thought my son might enjoy this,” Musk told reporters about the White House visit. “But he’s sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff. So it’s been hard to hear sometimes. Hey! Stop that!”
