A Disneyland employee has died from injuries sustained after falling off a golf cart while working at the park.

60-year-old Bonnye Mavis Lear struck her head after falling off of a moving golf cart. She was quickly taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Two days later, on Friday, June, 7, she died from her injuries.
No further details about the accident are available at this time.
Disneyland Employee Dies From Severe Head Injuries
Ken Potrock, president of Disneyland Resort, released a statement to Variety on Lear’s passing.
“We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye, and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her,” Potrock stated. “At this time, we are focused on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need.”
Lear worked at the Disneyland Resort for 24 years. She was most recently working at Club 33, a private dining service located in the park. The VIP lounge is located above the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and first opened in 1967.
As of now, no further details on Lear’s passing are available. The Anaheim Police Department is continuing to investigate the accident and has not released a statement on Lear’s death.
