Things are continuing to spiral downhill for Music Mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. He is already the subject of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation. And things went from bad to worse for the music star on May 17. CNN released a shocking video of Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie.
The entire video is pretty alarming, to say the least. Cassie seemed to be trying to escape from the hotel she and Diddy were staying at. Combs appears in the video wearing nothing but a towel stopping at nothing to keep her from leaving the hotel.
Cassie Ventura’s Makeup Says People Were Scared’ of Diddy
Mylah Morales, who did Diddy and Cassie’s makeup while they were together, confirmed that Combs often carried a frightening demeanor.
“We were always scared of Puff. He’s a powerful person and we don’t know what would happen to us if we spoke out,” she said.
Morales Recalls Time Ventura Was Assaulted
Morales also says that she was present when Combs got violent with Cassie on several occasions. She recalled a specific encounter during the weekend of the Grammys. In the recollection, Mylah says that Diddy entered the room intensely looking for Cassie, and when he found her things went sour. Morales says she did not physically see anything happen in this particular situation. But in the aftermath of the altercation, it was clear that Cassie was assaulted.
“She was bruised. I mean, badly bruised, like knots on her head, a black eye. All I cared about was to get her to safety, and I took her into my house and kept her there for a few days,” Morales said.
“I literally called my friend, who was a doctor at the time, to treat her because we couldn’t bring her to the hospital. We didn’t know what the hell to do at that point. Who are we going to call?”
After the video was released Combs took to social media to apologize for his actions. But Morales, like many other people, believes that it was just insincere damage control.
“Just a PR stunt. That’s ridiculous, he didn’t even mention her name. and if he was apologetic about it, he would mention her name, but he didn’t,” she added.
“And that’s what I don’t understand. and I just feel like he, he’s a great, ‘Talented Mr. Ripley.’”
