Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are not fighting over Margot Robbie, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. There’s no love triangle between the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood stars. Gossip Cop can debunk the claim otherwise.

According to NW, the two leading men of Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie have been vying for their female co-star’s attention, to the point where it’s getting “awkward” between all of them. The magazine contends that DiCaprio and Robbie were “playfully flirting with each other” at the film’s red carpet premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last week, but when it came to a photo call the following day, it was Pitt who “was fawning over” the actress.
“Leo’s always prided himself on being Margot’s favorite co-star,” a supposed source tells the outlet. “But since Brad’s been on the scene, Leo has had to take a back seat and it’s really dented his ego.” The alleged insider goes on to say that Robbie, who worked with DiCaprio on 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street, hasn’t “frozen Leo out or dissed him,” but “she’s just drawn more towards Brad – for the moment, at least.” The suspicious tipster adds, “It seems like he’s got Margot truly wrapped around his little finger – whether Leo likes it or not!”
Nothing about the magazine’s story is remotely true. For starters, DiCaprio has been dating model Camila Morrone for more than a year. In fact, the actor’s girlfriend joined him at the red carpet premiere of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The notion that the actor was flirting with Robbie during the event simply isn’t true. Meanwhile, Pitt’s spokesperson has told us several times that his relationship with Robbie is purely friendly and professional. The tabloid’s article also never bothers to mention that the actress is married to producer Tom Ackerley.
This isn’t the first time the unreliable outlet has targeted the three stars. Back when Robbie was still in talks for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood last year, the magazine wrongly reported that the actress’s husband was refusing to let her work with Pitt and DiCaprio. Robbie officially signed on for the film shortly after Gossip Cop debunked the story.
It’s also worth noting, this isn’t the first time we’ve had to correct a bogus rumor about Pitt and DiCaprio feuding. In reality, the two stars had a great time working together, as both have made clear in recent interviews at Cannes. The two actors simply aren’t in a battle over their married co-star. Multiple sources close to the situation assure Gossip Cop that the tabloid’s report is nonsense.
