Famed actor Alec Baldwin could be in even more hot water. The one-time Saturday Night Live star was confronted by an anti-Israel protester inside a New York City coffee shop.
Despite multiple pleas from Baldwin for the protesters to stop, they did not listen. After continuing to antagonize the actor, Baldwin finally took action and smacked the phone out of the protester’s hand.

No Charges Against Alec Baldwin Filed Yet
TMZ reports that the protester has not filed charges against Baldwin. However, the star could still be in some legal trouble.
“The anti-Israel protestor who clashed with Alec Baldwin hasn’t filed a police report, but there still may be some legal action on the horizon over the phone smack … TMZ has learned,” TMZ wrote.
“We found the woman who confronted Alec in a coffee shop in NYC over the Palestine-Israel conflict — and as it turns out … it’s performance artist Crackhead Barney (yes, that’s her real stage name). We asked her if she’d gone to cops yet … and her rep tells us no, not yet.”
Actor Claims Innocence in ‘Rust’ Tragedy
Baldwin is also facing criminal charges following a tragedy on the set of Rust in October 2021. The former Saturday Night Live star fired a gun on the set of the film. The fatal shot killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured film director Joel Souza.
Prop guns don’t usually have live ammo. But unfortunately, this one did and killed a person. Baldwin was holding the gun that fired the fatal shot. But the actor insists that he did not pull the trigger.’
“Baldwin has insisted from almost Day One that he did not pull the trigger on the 1880s gun that killed Hutchins. He says the gun went off in his hand. Following a botched investigation by the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office, the FBI and more recently independent weapons examiners brought aboard by the special prosecutors have taken a different point of view,” Deadline reports.
“Additionally, in violation of standard set safety procedures, Baldwin was pointing the gun right at the unshielded Hutchins when it fired during the rehearsal on the already troubled low-budget film.”
