Adele recently shared her plans to have another baby during Weekends With Adele.
The singer, 36, mentioned that she and her boyfriend Rich Paul plan to prioritize having children after wrapping up the Las Vegas residency show.
“Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” Adele told her audience during Friday’s show, per The Daily Mail.
“I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy,” she continued. “I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world. That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”
“With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?” Adele joked.
Adele also brought up Rich’s daughter, Reonna Simone, at one point during the show. “It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend,” she said with pride. “So, I love you darling.”
Adele also has her own child — 11-year-old son Angelo — with her ex-husband Simon Konecki. The two divorced back in 2019, and she began seeing Rich in 2021.
Adele Shares Major Baby News, Talks of More Kids in the Future
This isn’t the first time Adele has spoken publicly about wanting more kids. In fact, in August, she told her fans during her residency show that she was excited to have another child.
“I really want to be a mom again soon,” Adele said at the time. “I’ve actually been writing lists. So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”
Talk of her desire for more kids traces back to 2022 when Adele went on BBC’s Desert Island Discs podcast. When asked where she sees herself in 10 years, she brought up the topic of children.
“I definitely would like a couple more kids,” she told host Lauren Laverne at the time. “It would be wonderful if we can.”
However, she noted, if she for some reason could not have more children, she would still be content with her life.
“I’ve got Angelo,” she said. “I just want to be happy.”
