As previously reported, Hall recently filed a lawsuit against the NFL star for allegedly crushing her right leg with “crushing force” during a football lesson. She stated that Hill felt “humiliated” when she was able to “hold her own” while playing with him. She even knocked him backward while doing a series of practice drills.
Hall then stated that Tyreek Hill was so mad that he retaliated by rushing at her. He then knocked her to the ground. She claimed the hit had such ferocity that she sustained a significant injury. She ended up needing reconstructive surgery and months of physiotherapy as a result of the injury.
However, Tyreek Hill has a different story to share about the situation. The NFL player’s attorney, Julius B. Collins, told TMZ Sports that the lawsuit was an “attempt to shake down” Hill. The lawyer explained that while Hall did go to Hill’s home and had done some drills together, she had hurt herself when she fell over a dog.
Collins also stated that Hall’s claims about Hill are “disgusting and cunning.”
“This lawsuit is baseless,” Collins declared. “And nothing more than an attempt to bring bad publicity to Mr. Hill and force him into paying them and their client monies.”
Tyreek Hall’s Attorney Says His Client Already Filed an Insurance Claim for Sophie Hall’s Injuries
Collins further pointed out that Hill opened an insurance claim for the injuries that Hall sustained at his home. He claims that Hall’s lawsuit was an attempt to “scare tactic” Hall into personally covering all of her medical bills.
“Mr. Hill is prepared to defend against this baseless lawsuit head on,” Collins added.
Meanwhile, Miami Dolphins general manager, Chris Grier, spoke to reporters about the lawsuit. “For us, Tyreek has been a good addition for us,” Grier stated. “But in terms of all the off-field stuff, we’ll have to get all the information before we can really comment on it.”
Hall is currently seeking as much as $75,000 in damages. The lawsuit was notably filed on charges of battery, assault as well as intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.
Hall also accused Hill of downplaying her injuries. She said that he offered her ice and a bed to lay in down. However, after struggling with pain for days, she was eventually diagnosed with a right leg fracture. Despite having the surgery and weekly physio sessions, Hall said the injury still causes her persistent pain and weakness.
