Donald “Jayy Wick” Anderson was arrested in connection with a shooting in Panama City Beach, Fla., the Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced on May 6. The 26-year-old’s arrest occurred more than 10 days after the incident.
On April 25, the rapper allegedly shot the teenager multiple times before “continu[ing] his night as if nothing happened,” the sheriff’s office claimed in a statement.
The BCSO also posted a video of the arrest, showing Anderson calmly waiting as officers handcuffed him.

Anderson performed at Vibez Night Club in Panama City after the alleged shooting, Atlanta’s FOX 5 reported, citing the sheriff’s office.
A security guard working with Anderson reportedly told investigators he heard the gunfire, found the victim, and moved them to the pavement off the beach, according to the outlet. It’s unclear if the rapper knew the victim.
Anderson, a native of Cordele, Georgia, gained prominence after the release of his 2025 single “Pork Chop Sammich.” The track has amassed over five million Spotify streams, where the rapper has more than 500,000 followers.
Police said in a statement that they tracked Anderson to Atlanta, where he was taken into custody. They added that a firearm was recovered during his arrest.
He has been charged with first-degree attempted murder and is awaiting extradition to Florida. The rapper faces up to 25 years to life if convicted.
It is unclear if he has retained an attorney or denied the accusation.
