Barbara Alyn Woods and her husband John Lind have called it quits after more than 20 years of marriage.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the One Tree Hill alum married Lind in 1999. However, the longtime couple has been separated since Nov. 2021. After nearly three years of separation, Lind officially filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
In the divorce documents, Barbara Alyn Woods’ estranged husband requested joint custody and physical custody of their 16-year-old daughter, Alyvia. The request notably keeps with the agreement the soon-to-be former spouses made in July 2022.
The 2022 documents revealed that Lind and Woods separated as a result of irreconcilable differences caused by “the irremediable breakdown” of their marriage. In his divorce filing, Lind requested the termination of the court’s support for both himself and Woods.
Along with Alyvia, Barbara Alyn Woods shares daughters Natalie and Emily with Lind. All three of the girls are reportedly actresses, with Natalie having a recurring role in The Goldbergs and Gotham. Emily previously starred in the HBO Max Gossip Girl reboot. She also starred in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire earlier this year.
Alyvia played the younger Dolly Parton in the TV film Coat of Many Colors. She starred in The Young and the Restless. She is now in AMC”s Chucky with her mother.
Barbara Alyn Woods starred on One Tree Hill as Deborah “Deb” Scott from 2003 to 2009. She later appeared in the hit series’ final season in 2012. She met Lind on the set of Honey: I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show. He was an assistant director of that series.

Earlier this year, Barbara Alyn Woods told E! News that her One Tree Hill castmates were all on board for a reunion.
“We all kept in touch,” Woods shared. “Unlike other shows where they say, ‘We’re family, we’re going to keep in touch,’ we actually have.”
The actress also admitted that she would be “surprised” if no future projects came due to the show’s streaming success.
“I have no idea what’s going on, but if there wasn’t some sort of like spinoff or something, I would be so surprised,” she said. “Because we’re all on board, we’re all friends, it would be the most fun show anybody has ever been on.”
Barbara Alyn Woods went on to add that the One Tree Hill cat does feel the pressure to deliver to both old and new fans.
“I feel very fortunate. Not only has the show had this major resurgence – I actually think it’s bigger now than it was when it aired. We just need to keep going, this thing is not going to die.”
