A report claiming Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are “back on track” following supposed marriage problems is completely untrue. The spouses were never off track in the first place. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.
According to OK! Australia, the spouses were having a lot of issues in the less than six months since tying the knot, but they’re “making a concerted effort to connect and spend quality time together.” A supposed source tells the magazine that Cyrus’ “wacky ways” were becoming bothersome to the “more conservative” actor, but the two are finally starting to “adjust to married life.”
The story comes on the heels of Hemsworth joining his wife in Europe last week as she promoted her new album, She Is Coming. The outlet notes that the actor was by his wife’s side overseas and that he’s been sharing photos of the two on social media. Back in March, however, the American edition of OK! falsely claimed Cyrus and Hemsworth’s marriage was in trouble because they “couldn’t stop fighting.”
Gossip Cop debunked that report as soon as it emerged, and time has proven it unequivocally false. The Australian outlet is now covering for its American counterpart by insisting that the spouses have overcome their so-called “problems.” It’s a cheap tactic often employed by the tabloids. Instead of acknowledging they got the story wrong, many gossip magazines will often backpedal by maintaining that a couple is “back on track.”
In the time since the singer and the actor got married last Christmas, however, they’ve consistently flaunted their love on social media. The happy spouses have also attended several awards shows and red carpet events, showing plenty of PDA along the way. Cyrus and Hemsworth haven’t been at odds at any point during the short time they’ve been married.
It should be noted, OK! Australia wrongly reported last July that Cyrus and Hemsworth had split and called off their wedding. The tabloid alleged at the time that the couple hadn’t been getting along for months and the singer didn’t want to get married. It was around five months later that the couple tied the knot at the singer’s home in Tennessee.
In 2017, Gossip Cop called out the American edition of the outlet for wrongly reporting that Cyrus and Hemsworth had gotten secretly married in Georgia. Their real wedding took place in a different state more than a year later. Whether its reporting from the United States or abroad, the tabloid has zero insight into the couple’s relationship.
