Proving once again that there’s no love lost between her and The View, Meghan McCain slammed her former talk show colleagues while advising on how they should address the assassination of conservative pundit Charlie Kirk.

The Turning Point USA founder was debating with college students on the campus of Utah Valley University for his The American Comeback Tour on Wednesday when he was fatally shot. His death sparked outrage due to President Trump claiming the “radical left” was responsible.
However, there is no evidence that the suspect, 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson, has any political affiliation. He turned himself in following a 33-hour manhunt by local and state law enforcement as well as the FBI.

As she mourned Kirk, McCain took the opportunity to make a snarky remark towards her former The View colleagues.
“If my former colleagues at The View have even three brain cells left between all of them, they will do nothing but attempt to be even mildly decent this morning to the millions of heartbroken conservatives in this country,” she wrote on X.
The response was likely not what she expected, with many X users criticizing her remarks.
“You are so caddy,” one X user wrote. “Have you always been this way? I am not a conservative, but I don’t remember your dad or mom acting this way, and I respect that in them. You are something else. There a way to say things and you just don’t have it.”
The View Co-Hosts Give Honest and Sensitive Opinions About Charlie Kirk’s Assassination
The View co-hosts gave honest and sensitive opinions about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
While speaking about the situation, Whoopi Goldberg stated that no one should be afraid to speak out about their views.
“I don’t even know how to start this because this is, it’s just beyond devastating,” The View host said. “Our hearts, of course, go out to the family of Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed yesterday on a college campus in Utah. I mean, isn’t a fundamental part of being an American that we are able to express our opinions to each other without fear, without this kind of horror happening?”
“And it seems to be something we have been seeing more and more of,” Goldberg pointed out. “And it’s not even left or right. It’s just people being taken out because of their beliefs and their thoughts.”
Fellow The View co-host and former communications aide for President Trump, Alyssa Farah Griffin, agreed. She also stated that she hoped the assassination would not impact Americans’ ability to express their opinions.
“Listen, regardless of your politics, we have got to get to a place in this country where we see people we disagree with not as our enemies but as fellow Americans with different viewpoints that we are willing to engage,” she said. “I hope it doesn’t have a chilling effect, whether you’re left or right, on your ability to speak your mind.”
“I know the one thing we all agree about on this table,” she added. “We all share points, and we should be able to do that without fear.”
Co-host Sara Haines furthered the discussion by saying she aligned with Kirk’s willingness to debate. “What I deeply aligned with was, he said, ‘When we stop talking, that’s when things get bad.'” she said.
