During the recent episode of her The Southern Tea podcast, Lindsie addressed Savannah’s remarks. “It was brought to my attention by a ton of listeners of the podcast, The Southern Tea and Coffee Convos community, that my sister had yet again chosen to make public comments about me regarding my parents’ ongoing legal battle,” Lindsie stated about her younger sibling.
Lindsie Chrisley also stated she has completely refrained from discussing anything regarding her relationship with Savannah for a “significant amount of time.”
“My sister has never privately reached out to me to discuss her apparent issues with me,” Lindsie continued. “And has publicly said several times that we have no relationship at all. … It’s nothing.”
“So, why she has chosen to have a public conversation regarding me at every opportunity she is given, I will truly never understand that, but I hope it gives her whatever she is seeking from doing so.”
Lindsie Chrisley continued to point out that Savannah, who is a mental health advocate, should make sure she isn’t harming someone else’s mental health while making statements publicly.
“[It] seems a little bit contradictory for a person to do both of those things simultaneously,” she said.
Savannah Chrisley Spoke About Lindsie’s Involvement in Her Parents’ Legal Battle
Lindsie Chrisley’s comments follow Savannah’s recent appearance on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast. The Chrisley Knows Best star revealed more details about Lindsie’s involvement in their parents’ legal battle.
“There has been a lot of public lashing out at each other,” Savannah explained. “I find it funny because her so-called lawyer wants to say that I’m using her as a ‘punching bag’ for my emotions, which is not true at all.”
Savannah also said that she goes “off of facts.” She pointed out that Lindsie had interviews with the FBI for two years. “So, I’m going off the facts of it and I wholeheartedly believe she was a huge player in this whole fiasco,” Savannah accused.
“And, it just is what it is. At this point, I believe that family is not blood. Family can be some of your closest friends. Blood does not mean you are family to someone.”
Savannah then stated that Lindsie’s “anger, bitterness, and resentment” towards her parents led to her allegedly interviewing with the FBI. Todd and Julie are currently in prison for committing tax evasion. They were also found guilty of defrauding community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.
Lindsie’s attorney previously stated that she has “no ill will” for Savannah. “ She’s dealing with a lot and it doesn’t surprise me that she’s lashing out at Lindsie. I mean, some of the stuff that she’s saying with regard to her parents, that’s got to be out of anger because it’s not in fact.”
